They are responsible for processing and resolving financial statements, tax planning, auditing and other related issues of a company or individual. Certified Public accountants need to pass a series of examinations and meet relevant education and work experience requirements in order to qualify.
In general, the CFO is a senior management position that is responsible for the financial management of the entire company, while the CPA is a professional accounting career qualification that is mainly engaged in accounting and auditing. In some companies, the CFO may also be a CPA.
